Marc-AndrĂ© Cournoyer is a damn good hacker. Check his latest addition to his Generator project. I’m seriously considering dropping the “official” scaffolding support, and direct the users to the brand new Generator.
I’ve also checked the Streamlined last saturday. It’s cool but requires some aid. It’s fair as it cannot infer all you want from the scaffold support.

This is pretty astonishing stuff - very impressed. If there could be some support for VB.NET in the templates and migrations I’d say that it is worthwhile moving in to the official Monorail project. Heck, even without that it’s probably worth it. I’ve been dinking around with RoR on the weekends and like a lot of the “convention over configuration” approach, and the generator certainly provides more of that to Monorail.
